🗳️Tomorrow is Election Day!
Dear Neighbor,
If you haven’t voted early, please vote tomorrow.
This election is incredibly consequential. While we’re not a swing state for president, that race obviously has huge consequences for the future of our country.
Right here at home, we’re also voting for members of the Chicago Board of Education for the very first time. We’ve always had a school board appointed by the mayor. I’ve fought my whole political career to change that system, and this year we have school board members on the ballot. You can learn more about this (and hear a little from me!) on this ABC7 segment.
If you need to find your polling place, you can look it up here. Some polling places have changed in recent years, so it’s worth a double-check. You can also print off a sample ballot to see what other offices you’ll be voting on, and you can always mark that up at home after doing some research and bring it to the polling place with you as a guide.
One other note: our district office will be closed for Election Day. We’ll reopen at 9am on Wednesday, November 6.
Thanks for being a voter and keeping our democracy alive!
