Saul Arellano
CONSTITUENT SERVICES COORDINATOR
saul@repguzzardi.comOne would call Saul “Chicago’s very own,” but the truth is, he has extended beyond our city and state borders. After experiencing the deportation of his mother in 2007, he moved to Mexico for several years. Saul’s mother, a human rights activist, took on the US government's immigration policies with others who were seeking sanctuary. From a young age, the impact of community action became ingrained in him and being on the front lines of changing policies has fortunately led him to become a community leader on his own. Saul is a 2017 graduate of Alternative High School Dr. Pedro Albizu Campos, and his resilience and dedication to seeking knowledge and community led him to college. He graduated in May 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Justice from Northeastern Illinois University.
