Rep. Will Guzzardi is back from leave! 🎊

Dear Neighbor,

I’m very excited to be back in the office after a parental leave that felt all too brief! Everyone at home is happy and healthy, and I’m so grateful to all of you who sent along well wishes to our family.

I’m also very grateful to my amazing district office team — Alyssa, Saul, and Tenoch — who held down the fort in my absence. If you haven’t come by our new office at 3001 N Central Park Ave., feel free to stop in any weekday 9 to 5 and get to know this terrific crew. And many thanks to Alyssa for writing these newsletters the last eight weeks!

Over the coming days, I’ll be preparing for what’s called “veto session,” the brief convening of the legislature in the fall before our regular session begins again in January. I’ll keep you posted on upcoming legislative developments and share some of the issues I’ll be working on.

And we’re gearing up for our annual Fall Family Health Fair, which is less than a month away! A great time to get a Covid booster, a blood pressure check-up, dental exams for the kids, as well as plenty of other services and fun activities too. Hope to see you all at Koz Park on November 4th for the event!

Take care and be well,
Will
