I wanted to be sure to invite you to the Northwest Side Public Safety Town Hall that our office is co-hosting with Alderman Daniel La Spata, Alderperson Jessie Fuentes, State Representative Lilian Jiménez, Cook County Commissioner Anthony Quezada, and the 14th and 25th Police District Councils.
Please join us tonight, Monday, September 25, at New Life Community Church, 1651 N Kedzie Ave. We invite community members to engage with elected officials at the city and state levels, local police leaders, and violence prevention organizations based on the Northwest Side to discuss short-term and long-term strategies and updates around public safety.

Logan Square Chamber of Commerce Town Hall
Join the Logan Square Chamber of Commerce and the Small Business Advocacy Council for a town hall this Thursday. September 28, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. There will be discussion around policies that can revitalize neighborhood business districts and support small businesses at Hairpin Arts Center, 2810 N. Milwaukee Ave.
Jefferson Township Property Tax Appeals
Did you know that most of the 39th District is in Jefferson Township? This township is now open for Cook County property tax appeals. If you need assistance in applying, you can make an appointment with the office of Cook County Commissioner Anthony Quezada by calling (312) 603-6386 or emailing District8@cookcountyil.gov. The deadline to apply is October 2.
Homeless Services New Arrivals Shelter Operations of City Owned, City-Leased or Licensed Facilities RFP #9335
The City of Chicago’s Department of Family and Support Services, Homeless Services Division is looking for applications for the operation of emergency shelters for New Arrivals.
