Committee Victories ✅ 📑

Last Friday was the "committee deadline," meaning the last day to pass new bills in House committees this session. (There are always exceptions to this deadline — it's more of a general rule!)

I was able to pass several important pieces of legislation before the deadline. Here's a summary of several of them:

Next step: we call the bill in the House chamber. If we can get a 60-vote majority to support it, the bill goes over to the Senate, and then to the Governor for a signature.

 

The deadline for that is in just two weeks, so I'll share more updates on these bills as they get voted on!
