Our Legislative Town Hall is this Thursday! Join State Representative Lilian Jiménez, State Senator Omar Aquino, and me as we break down what this new state budget and newly passed state legislation mean for our families and communities! Graciela Guzmán will be joining us as a special guest moderator, and there will be Spanish translation available.
There will also be tacos and refreshments at 5:30pm from local restaurant, El Azteca! The Town Hall will begin promptly at 6pm. Family Bowl Event
Join the Unity Park Advisory Council for a Family Bowl Event at Avondale Bowl, 3118 N Milwaukee Ave. on Sunday, July 14 from 11am to 3pm. Community Report Forum
On Thursday, July 25, the Puerto Rican Arts Alliance along with State Senator Omar Aquino (2nd District), State Representative Will Guzzardi (39th District), State Representative Lilian Jimenez (4th District), and State Representative Eva Dina Delgado (3rd District) invite you to attend a Community Report Forum aimed at bringing you the latest information on the State Legislative Session. This presentation will be at 2958 N Milwaukee Ave. and is followed by an open Q&A session. Free parking will be available at the US Bank Employee Parking Lot. Bikes for Belmont Cragin
Join Northwest Center and partnering offices on Saturday, July 27 from 11am to 1pm for a 5-mile community bike ride to celebrate transportation victories in the last year and build power for years to come! There will be a raffle for a Trek Bike, snacks and light refreshments, plus DIVVY bikes.
