 My office and our community partners are excited to invite you to the following local events celebrating the fall season, Halloween, and DĂ­a de Muertos.

 These events feature a variety of family activities including candy and treat giveaways, pumpkin picking, and costume contests. Our Fall Family Health Fair will also provide a range of free health services aimed at keeping you and your family healthy over the holiday season, including FREE Flu shots, COVID-19 vaccines and booster shots.

Howl-o-ween Dog Costume Contest at Koz Park

Check out Koz Park's second annual Howl-O-Ween Dog Costume Contest this Saturday, October 29th. Dress your pup up in their best costume, meet your neighbors, and possibly win prizes from neighborhood businesses. They'll also have Halloween treats for dogs and humans. Spectators also welcome. See you there! 


Logan Square Halloween Parade

Each year the Logan Square Halloween Parade brings together all the ghouls and goblins of Logan Square and the surrounding neighborhood for a night of bewitching fun and celebration of community. Join your neighbors for the parade this Sunday October, 30th at 5pm at the Illinois Centennial Memorial Column in Logan Square.

Join Palenque LSNA on November 2nd on Armitage Ave to celebrate Dia de Muertos with the whole family. We will have fun activities, music and performers, restaurant specials, altars, free goodies and so much more.

VOTER INFORMATION

Early Voting In Person

If you’d like to avoid lines at the polls on Election Day, you can vote early in person now through November 8th (Election Day) at any early voting location in the city. Hours and locations are posted at chicagoelections.gov. Two eary voting locations in our area are the Portage Cragin Library (5108 W. Belmont) and Northeastern Illinois University’s El Centro Campus (3390 N. Avondale).

 

Voting In Person on Election Day

If you’d like to vote in person on Election Day you should verify the location of your polling place by going to chicagoelections.gov and clicking on “Your Voter Information”. Remember, hundreds of polling places across the city closed this year. This tool will also confirm your voter registration status and let you know if it’s active or not. All registered voters can expect to receive mailers confirming their new polling place in the coming weeks. 

 

Vote By Mail

You can apply online now to Vote By Mail by clicking this link — ballots are already being delivered to voters' mailboxes. All Vote By Mail ballots come with postage-paid Ballot Return Envelopes and must be postmarked before or on Election Day. You can also drop off your ballot in a secured drop box at any Chicago early voting location before Election Day. Questions about Vote By Mail?
