Back to School Fair & Community Mercado
Dear Neighbor,
It's hard to believe, but we're officially half-way through the summer! As we look towards the fall, I want to highlight an event our office is organizing to celebrate the end of summer, and make sure our students are prepared for a successful school year back in the classroom.
Our "Back to School Fair & Community Mercado" will take place on Saturday, August 14 at Kelvyn Park, 4438 W. Wrightwood Ave, from 10:00am to 2:00pm.

We will have tons of resources for families including free school supplies, COVID-19 vaccines, flu shots, and an array of vaccines that are needed to return to school. We'll also provide free dental check-up's, physicals, and other health services.
Folks who don't have children can still stop by to shop our local mercado featuring craft vendors from our community, participate in a free Zumba class at 11:00am, enter to win prizes in our raffle, and enjoy a day in the park.
