39th District Office Updates! 🗞️

Dear Neighbor,

This summer we’ve had a lot of exciting changes in addition to the move to our new district office. (A reminder that you can find us at 3001 N Central Park, at the corner of Central Park and Milwaukee!)

For the last three years, Emily Melbye has served as my Chief of Staff. Last Wednesday was her last day in my office. She's transitioning to City Council to staff the Committee on Pedestrian and Traffic Safety. I'm very sad to see her go, of course, but excited about the tremendous work she's going to do at the city level. We are so grateful for all Emily’s hard work and dedication to the district and wish her well in this exciting new role.

As we say farewell and congratulations to Emily, we also welcome Alyssa Carabez as our new Chief of Staff, Tenoch Rodriguez as our Community Outreach Coordinator, and Saul Arellano as our Constituent Services Coordinator. Learn more about the new 39th District Team here!

It’s hard to believe that we’re less than two weeks from our Back-to-School Fair + Mercado at Kelvyn Park! On August 12, join us for free backpacks, school supplies, and vaccines, local vendors, and kids’ activities. Join us as a volunteer on the 12th–fill out this Volunteer Sign-Up Form.
