Summer Recap & Environmental Town Hall 🌎

Dear Neighbor,

Last Saturday we celebrated the end of summer with our Back to School Fair & Community Mercado.

Thanks to the help of countless sponsors and volunteers we distributed over 700 backpacks filled with school supplies and administered over 40 COVID-19 vaccines to members of our community.

Families also spent the afternoon accessing a variety of resources for childcare, food access and health services.

We were also able to highlight our local businesses and artisans who setup shop at our mercado. It was a wonderful celebration of our community.

If you missed us last weekend, but are still looking for free school supplies, you can stop by another back to school fair we're sponsoring on Saturday at Avondale-Logandale elementary school along with local alderman. Click here to learn more. As we wrap up another summer please stay tuned for updates on the upcoming veto session and other fall community events.
