SNAP & P-EBT Benefits

 

SNAP 

  • The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) (formerly Food Stamps) helps low-income people and families buy the food they need for good health. You can apply here or by calling our office at 773-853-2570 

  • SNAP customers can now purchase groceries online for delivery through Amazon Fresh. You can learn more and order groceries here

P-EBT 

  • P-EBT benefits provide funds to help families buy food for school-aged children who would have received free or reduced-priced punch last spring. P-EBT applications are still open.

  • Eligible families are entitled to $5.70 per child per school day

  • If you already receive SNAP benefits and have an eligible child no application is needed and these benefits will be directly added onto your LINK card
